11月14日に埼玉県ディスクゴルフ協会が誕生しました。
会長のローランドさんからコメントをいただきました。

On November 14th 2021, Saitama Prefectural Citizen's Day, the Saitama Prefectural Disc Golf Associa (SPDGA) was born! Our mission is to bring the joy and pleasure of disc golf and the flight of the disc the citizens of Saitama prefecture. The last two years has seen an unprecedented global boom in the popularity of our sport. Japan has fallen behind in the new wave of the sport, something that I personally feel is a missed valuable opportunity, not only for the many people who have not yet throw a disc, but for the entire community, including businesses and municipalities, who could all benefit from the spread of the sport. While disc golf is an individual sport, spreading is a team effort. Therefore, as president of the SPDGA I will work with our great team, and the many municipalities of Saitama Prefecture to make disc golf, and the joy of the flight of the disc, more commonplace in Saitama daily life.

2021年11月14日、「埼玉県民の日」に埼玉県ディスクゴルフ協会（SPDGA）が誕生しました！
私たちの使命は、埼玉県民にディスクゴルフの喜びとディスクを飛ばす楽しさをお届けすることです。
過去2年間で、私たちのスポーツの人気は前例のないほどの世界的なブームになりました。
日本はこのスポーツの新しい波に遅れをとっており、私が個人的に感じているのは、まだディスクを投げたことのない多くの人々だけではなく、スポーツの普及から恩恵を受ける企業や自治体を含むコミュニティ全体において貴重な機会を逃したことです。 ディスクゴルフは個人スポーツですが普及はチームの努力によるものです。 そのため、私はSPDGAの会長として、優秀なチームと共に埼玉県の多くの市町村と協力しつつ、埼玉の日常生活においてディスクゴルフやディスクを飛ばす楽しさが当たり前になるように努力していく所存です。
